Destinations : Colombo - Dambulla - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Tissamaharama - Kosgoda - Colombo

Day 01 : Colombo - Dambulla
Morning arrive Colombo. Meeting, assistance at airport and transfer to hotel in Dambulla. Lunch at hotel. PM. Free. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Dambulla - Anuradhapura - Aukana - Dambulla
After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura and visit the ancient capital of Sri Lanka. The
sacred Boo Tree, the oldest Thupa in Sri Lanka, Abhayagiriya , Jetawanaramaya, Image House, Chapter House, Twin Ponds, Ranmasu Uyana. Lunch at Nuwerawewa Rest house. PM climb Mihnitale a flight of 1840 steps which takes one to the summit of the rock where a cave and the Kaludiya Pokuna (Pond) forms a facade to the entrance. On the way back visit a masterpiece of Sinhala art caved out of rock during the 3rd quarter of the 5th century. Evening return to hotel of dinner and overnite stay.

Day 03 : Dambulla - Polonnaruwa - Medirigiriya - Dambulla
After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa the 2nd most ancient capital od Sri Lanka, dates back to the 10th century. The ruins are characteristic of two phases of domination. That of the Cholas and the restoration of the Sinhala culture, with fall of the Cholas. The Royal Palace and court room, the Siva Devalaya, Watadage, Sathmahal Prasadaya Hetadage, Nissankalathamandappa, The Kalugal Viharaya (a cave sanctuary in which stands a gigantic carved statue of Buddha. Kirivehara Thivankapilima. Lunch at Hotel Royal Lotus. PM visit Medirigiriya. The Vatadage and its other buildings are the most beautiful examples of ancient architecture of Sri Lanka. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 : Dambulla - Sigiriya - Dambulla
After breakfast leave for Sigiriya, both conceived and constructed by the parricide king Kasyapa 1 in 477 AD. It is a impregnable retreat of steps and stairways with a palace crowning the summit. The different systems pointing towards west is made up of two walls covering a rectangle of 775 m by 600 m three ramparts and two moats. Today Sigiriya is known for its frescoes painted in the pocket of the rock. A granite protection above the gallery has served in conserving some of the paintings from bad weather.
Return to hotel for lunch.

PM. Visit the sacred caves at Dambulla, surrounded by the natural beauty. A vast isolated rock-mass similar to Sigiriya referred to as `Rangiri' the Golden Rock. Some of the paintings in this cave are over 2000 years old. There is also a colossal figure of recumbent Buddha (14 meter long) carved out of rock. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Dambulla - Matale - Kandy
After breakfast leave for Kandy enroute visiting Spices Garden and Hindu Temple at Matale. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. Lunch at Garden Cafetaria. PM. visit of Kandy. This beautiful hill country nestles a lively lake and was the last capital of the Sinhala Royalty. Temple of the Tooth Relic. Evening view a performance of Kandyan dancing. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Kandy
After breakfast visit 3 Buddhist temples reminiscent of the Kandyan era. Lankathilaka Viharaya (considered to be a masterpiece of that period and shelters a giant a brick-work Buddha statue. Embakke Devale, dedicated to the war God Skanda, famous for its exquisite wood carvings and beautifully turned out roof. Gadaladeniya, a temple dedicated to Buddha and also Hindu God Upulvan - Varuna. Lunch at hotel. PM. visit Peradeniya University, museum, Upper Lake View Drive. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya enroute visit Tea Plantation and Tea Factory. Lunch at hotel. PM at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Nuwara Eliya - Buduruwagala - Kataragama - Tissamaharama
After breakfast proceed to Tissamaharama enroute visit Buduruwagala to view the sculptures which belong to the 8th and 10th century. Lunch at hotel. PM visit Kataragama Devale. There are a numerous Hindu temples and recently renovated Stupa of Kiri Vehara. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 09 - Tissamaharama - Yalla - Galle - Kosgoda or Beruwela
After breakfast visit the Yala Wild Life sanctuary. Lunch at hotel. PM proceed to Kosgoda or Beruwela enroute visiting Dutch Fortress of Galle. Dinner and overnight at Beach Resort.

Day 10 : Kosgoda or Beruwela
Full day at leisure. Overnight stay at Beach Resort.

Day 11 : Kosgoda or Beruwela - Colombo
AM. At leisure. After early lunch proceed to Colombo for city sightseeing. Evening transfer to airport for flight to home.
