Nainital-Mussoorie-Amritsar-Manali TourDestination : Delhi – Nainital – Haridwar – Rishikesh – Mussoorie – Shimla – Manali – Dharamshala – Dalhousie – Chamba – Amritsar – Chandigarh - Delhi Day 1: Delhi Arrive in Delhi and later transfer to the hotel. Day free for rest. Overnight at hotel. Day 2: Delhi Next morning full day sight seeing of Delhi. Delhi - The capital of India. Visit the Laxmi Narayan Mandir, and the Bahai Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple. Raj Ghat the cremation site of Mahatama Gandhi, Father Of India. Later enjoy Red Fort and Jama Masjid in the Old Delhi. Go on shopping to the crowded streets of the markets of Chandni Chowk Bazaar. In the evening, you can visit Dilli Haat, best place to look at Indian handicrafts and drive over the Rajpath, India Gate. You can see the President's House from outside and visit the 16th century Humayun's Tomb, Safdarjung's Tomb and Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 3: Delhi - Naintal Today morning drive to the lake district-Nainital. Later transfer to the hotel. Evening you can enjoy bustle, there is a lot to do: boating, or sailing in vivid colored yachts; horse riding; walking along shady roads; taking the aerial ropeway; and shopping for woolen handicrafts, shapely candles and wickerware. Overnight at hotel. Day 4: Naintal After breakfast take on a full day city tour visiting Naini Lake- the central lake with its jade blue water. Take an idle walk around the lake or boat across. Hanumangarhi- a popular place for worship in the temple of lord Hanuman. Kilbury- a wooded spot, ideal for quiet and peaceful holidays. Naini Peak- one of the popular picnic spot, you can go trekking or on a horse back up to Naina peak. Bhimtal- bigger than Naini lake, a scenic island in the middle. Jeolikote- this is a health resort and a bee-keeping center. Strawberries grow here in plenty. Naukuchia Tal- this is nine-cornered lake which receives migratory birds. Overnight at hotel. Day 5: Naintal-Haridwar-Rishikesh Drive to the City of Ganges-Haridwar. Visit Mansa Devi Temple, Pareshwar Maha dev Temple, Bhimgoda Tank, Pawan Dham Temple, Lal Mata Temple, and Parmath Ashram. Bharat Mata Temple, Saptrishi Ashram. In the evening go to Har ki Pauri to attend the evening aarti at River Ganges. Later in the evening drive to Rishikesh. Overnight at hotel. Day 6: Rishikesh After breakfast full day sightseeing of the place visiting Triveni Ghat- a bathing Ghat that resounds with the ‘Aarti’ performed every evening to river Ganga. Laxman Jhoola- a suspension bridge across river Ganga. Shivanand Jhoola- also known as Ram Jhoola, the bridge runs across the river near Swarg Ashram. Temples- some premier temples in Rishikesh are Raghunath Temple, Pushkar Temple, Venkateshwar Temple, Chandra Mauleshwaran Temple, Shatrughan Temple, Bharat Mandir and Lakshman Temple. Ashrams and Yoga Centers- some of the main Ashrams are Shivanand Ashram, Muni Ki Reti, Mahesh Yogi Ashram, Shankaracharya Nagar, Swarg Ashram, Gita Bhawan, Ved Niketan and Yoga Study Center. In the evening drive to Mussoorie.Overnight at hotel. Day 7: Mussoorie Full day sight seeing of the Queen of Hills-Mussorie Lal Tibba- this place is highest point in Mussorie. Lal Tibba is located in Landour area, which is the oldest inhabited place in Mussorie. Gun Hill- second highest point in Mussoorie. From Gunhill Mussoorie appears to be changing colors every other minute. Each moment a different scene appears before your eyes. There are many shops on the hilltop so one can have a small little picnic here. Municipal Gardens- very old company gardens also known as Botanical gardens of Mussoorie. Kempty Falls- the biggest waterfall, Kempty is located 13 kms in a beautiful valley of Mussoorie. Sahastra Dhara- located 14 km from Dehradun, famous for its astounding beauty; the medicinal sulphur waterfalls are a great attraction. Overnight in hotel. Day 8: Mussorie-Shimla Early morning drive towards Shimla. Later transfer to the hotel. In the evening walk around the Mall Road, shopping all kinds of handicraft products of Himachal Pradesh, locally made woollen cloths, branded cloths, pottery items, jewellery, books, and local eatable items, especially pickles. Mall road is more famous for its wooden furniture shops. Overnight at hotel. |
