Garhwal Himalayas If there is heaven on this earth, it is `Garhwal', the stretch of Himalayan Land, which is known as the ` Abode of Gods '. Nature has been lavishly generous in making this land most beautiful. It is for this reason that from the time immemorial Garhwal has been the house-hold word for mental peace and spiritual learning . As a land of quest and achievement, it had distinction of being the land where the most important of the Indian Epic ` Mahabharata ' was written.

The source of the two most sacred Indian Rivers - ` THE GANGES ' and ` THE YAMUNA ' is from the glaciers of Garhwal. For ever Garhwal was in the soul and the heart of India, yet for ages it remained blissfully inaccessible to scores of its admirers and seekers. It was a revered expression for a stretch of land dotted with places of pilgrimage.

Garhwal has that galaxy of peaks and glaciers, that vastness of meadows and valleys, which has no parallel on the earth. The devotional adorned temples with their pinnacles soaring into the cosmic blue tend to heighten in mankind the ecstatic sense of complete surrender to the absolute being. On the other hand the frozen lakes, the majestic mountains, incredible waterfalls and rich flora and fauna provides a glorious panorama. What is so eternal about this land of wisdom and wonders is not to be said and read, but it is to be seen and felt. Come with us, we will make you experience this holy land and the ` Abode of Gods '.
