Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Duration : 09 nights/10 days
Destinations : Kathmandu – Nepalgunj – Simmikot – Hilsa – Taklakote - Mansarovar - Darchen – Tarboche – Dirapuk - Dolma-la pass – Zuthulpuk - Darchen – Mansarovar –Taklakote Hilsa – Simmikot – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu

Day 01: Kathmandu
Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport and later transfer to Deluxe Hotel or similar. In the evening buffet dinner. Accommodation on twin sharing basis. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu - Nepalgunj
After breakfast, move for Pashupatinath Darshan. Afternoon fly to Nepal Gunj (Flight- 3650m/1.5 hrs).
Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Nepalgunj – Simmikot – Hilsa – Taklakote
Early morning fly to Simmikot by fixed wing plane (1hr flight) and changeover at Simmikot to further fly to Hilsa by Helicopter (22 mins flight). Later trek 1.5 hrs to reach border and drive to Taklakote. Overnight at hotel in Taklakote.

Day 04: Taklakote
Enjoy your day for the acclimatization. Overnight at hotel in Taklakote.

Day 05: Taklakote – Mansarovar - Darchan
Early morning drive to Mansarovar (90 km/1.5 hrs). Take on Religious Pooja, Hawan etc. and continue drive to Darchan. Overnight at hotel in Darchan.

Day 06: Darchen – Tarboche - Dirapuk
After breakfast drive to Tarboche (8 kms) and start trek for Kailash Parikrama to Dirapuk (12 kms), light lunch on the way, dinner in the camp. Tent on twin sharing basis. Overnight at Camp.

Day 07: Dirapuk – Dolma-la pass (5200 m) - Zuthulpuk (4760 m)
This is the day every pilgrims talk about, the most difficult journey throughout the yatra - trek up to the 18,600ft. (Dolma- la Pass) - descend to Gauri Kund and further trek along with the river to Zuthulpuk. Dinner in the camp. Tent on twin sharing basis. Overnight at Camp.

Day 08: Zuthulpuk - Darchen – Mansarovar - Taklakote
After breakfast, trek around 6 kms, and reach to the point where the jeeps will be waiting. Drive to Darchen, after lunch we drive to Lake Mansarovar, religious pooja & Parikrama of Lake Mansarovar. Later drive back to Taklakote. Overnight at hotel in Taklakote.

Day 09: Taklakote – Hilsa – Simmikot – Nepalgunj - Kathmandu
After breakfast drive to Hilsa and later fly to Simmikot – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Kathmandu
Transfer to Airport for departure.

03 nights stay hotel in Taklakote.
02 nights stay at guest house / tented Accommodation during Kailash Parikrama.
1 night stay at clean comfortable guesthouse at Darchen.
All necessary permits, Tibet/China Group Visa, entrance fees for the entire trip as per our itinerary.
All Japanese made land cruisers 4 WD 4500 CC with supporting truck.
Freshly cooked 3 vegetarian meals a day by our experienced Sherpa staff Bottled mineral water.
English Speaking Guide
Yaks with yak drivers for carrying luggage & cooking equipment's during the Kora.

If need Ponies for riding upon for Kailash Kora, early request to our guide is necessary and the cost will be borne by guest on the spot. Be aware of the possible risk being thrown out by the ponies.
