Adi Kailash Trek Adi Kailash popularly known as Chhota Kailash is an Indian territory, close to Indian Tibetan border. It is an area of great natural beauty, peace, and sovereignty.During Adi-Kailash Yatra, you will come across the mighty splendor of the snow peaks of Annapurna, the gushing Kali river, thick forests, Narayan Ashram full of wild flowers and rare variation of fruits and number of waterfalls. Destination: Delhi- Kausani - Dharchula - Pangu - Sirkha - Galgad - Malpa - Budhi - Gunji - Kutti - Jollingkong - AdiKailash - Kutti-Gunji - Budhi-Malpa - Galgad-Sirkha - Dharchula - Champawat - Delhi Duration: 21 nights/22 days Day 1: Delhi Arrive Delhi and later transfer to the hotel. Overnight in hotel. Day 2: Delhi-Kausani Early morning drive to Kausani via Kathgodam. Later in the evening, enjoy the fascinating Himalayan view and sunset. Overnight stay in hotel. Day 3: Kausani - Dharchula Morning after breakfast drive to Darchula, a beautiful village located in the right bank of Kali River. Overnight in hotel. Day 4: Dharchula- Pangu(19 kms by road / 9 kms trek) After breakfast drive to Tawaghat from where trek towards to Pangu. It is a Bhotia village (local tribe) and the trek passes through the beautiful valley. Overnight camp. Day 5:Pangu - Sirkha(8 kms trek) In the morning trek down to Juyntigad. After that steep ascent to Sasa Village, there is a gradual climb up to Tihalakot. By evening, reach Sirkha ground. Overnight camp. Day 6: Sirkha - Galgad(14 kms trek) Early morning start your 2 kms trek down Samuri. From where a steep stony climb through thick forest to Sumariya - Dhar. From here, you will enter in a thick forest to the stream Simkhola. Later you will enter at Galla village and Jipti. Again, you can see Kali river, which is missing from Tawaghat. Reach Galad by evening. Overnight in tents. Day 7: Galgad - Malpa(10 kms trek) Next morning after breakfast trek to Malpa. Today the trek is difficult up to Garbyang. There is a steep down up to the Kali River. After few hrs treks we will find a beautiful Najang waterfall. It is almost 100 feet high. After a zigzag trek, we will reach Malpa. Overnight stay in tents. Day 8: Malpa - Budhi(8 kms trek) In the morning after breakfast set out for another challenging trek. You will find lush green valley, murmurings waterfalls falling like shower. In last couple of hrs, we will trek a steep ascent till Budhi Village. Overnight stay in tents. Day 9: Budhi - Gungi (17 kms trek) ![]() In the morning after breakfast start your trek with a steep climb to Chhiyalekh. Today we will also trek through lush green valley and with a numerous of wild flower. You can also view a glimpse of Mt. Annapurna and other Himalayan peaks. The trek is full of thrill with its beauty. Arrival at Gungi by evening. Overnight in tents. |
